It's race weekend in San Antonio, which means slight changes to your itinerary when visiting Pearl on Sunday, December 7. But first, here's a recap: The San Antonio Marathon is a brand-new destination running experience, crafted to celebrate the spirit and heritage of San Antonio, where every step tells a story. Rooted in the vibrant culture and community, this signature running event is brought to life through a collaboration between San Antonio Sports, the City of San Antonio, Visit San Antonio, Centro, and Olympic gold medalist-turned-marathon champion Meb Keflezighi.

When: Sunday, December 7, 2025

Half-Marathon Runs Through Pearl: 8:00 AM to 11:30 AM

Sunday Pearl Market Hours Update: 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM

Public Parking is available at the Pullman Market Lot, La Gloria Surface Parking Lot, Koehler Garage, Isleta Surface Parking Lot, and the Oxbow Parking Garage.

Official Viewing Location

Pearl is an official viewing location for the San Antonio Marathon! We recommend arriving an hour early to secure your spectator spot along the route. In addition to public viewing, Pearl will be hosting a sign-making station under the Cellars Pavilion (near the Food Hall) for those looking to cheer on their athlete!

Sunday Makers Market Update

In support of the San Antonio Marathon, Sunday's Pearl Market will feature over 30 vendors near Stable Hall, the newly opened Pearl Ice Rink, and Pearl Park. The Sunday Pearl Market on December 7 will have extended hours, from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

Important Note: Roads will close and reopen on a rolling basis on Sunday, December 7. Pearl/St. Mary's St. road closures are estimated to last from 6:00 AM to 12:00 PM. There will be an access lane from Camden St to Avenue B on Jones St. More information about race day road closures can be found here.
