Brasserie Mon Chou Chou is the brainchild of Chef Laurent Réa, Philippe Placé, and Jérôme Sérot—French food lovers who met nearly 20 years ago in San Antonio.

The name conveys a sense of nostalgia, with its promise of wonder by the slice. Offerings include pizza (by the slice and whole), subs, salads, and soft serve.

Schwartz is a seasoned chef that has worked at eateries all over the world, including time at Oleana, the James Beard Award-winning eatery in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and Michelin Star Arzak in Spain's San Sebastian. He later moved to Austin, where he added Uchiko, Emmer & Rye, Le Politque, and Vino Vino to his culinary resume.
